Panorama Roof
The GLC Pano roof is quite different from all of the others in the way it is designed and built and this is not a complaint.
It has a substantial mesh contraption (nylon?) that rises up in the front and partially along the sides of the opening. All of my previous cars had a small, angled, deflector up front. These devices are presumably to limit the wind and noise from entering the cabin. This one definitely limits the wind but might make a little more noise. I worry that it might serve as a magnet for flying insects, leaves etc.
It appears to all be of very high quality materials and nicely constructed. Again, I am not complaining but thought it was interesting. Anyone know more about it? The attached photo shows it pretty well.

Funny thing is . . . We've had this car for a month now and only just discovered the glass panel opens fully! Thanks to your thread and pic.
