COMMAND Media Volume Boost

2 questions regarding this feature

1. Does this simply raise the volume by a few decibels so that it is consistent with the radio, or does it provide a boost to bass/mid tones. I could swear that it sounds a little fuller without drastically increasing the volume.

2. When I switch the Media volume from standard to boost, it resets when I restart the car back to standard. This seems like a setting that should stick. Does anyone else have this issue? To be specific, I'm adjusting the volume boost when using BT audio with my phone.

I like this feature because it makes the volume a little more consistent across radio and BT audio, and it also makes it sound a little better IMO, but it's a pain to have to go into the settings to turn this on every time I start the vehicle.

One of my biggest pet peeves about this car is everything has to be input again upon restart. It should remember the dynamic settings, the heat and cooling setting on the seats, camera settings for the back up cam, and more. Simple programing, other cars remember more than the GLC.

I wouldn't know about this issue but i can tell you another member Mike5215 helped me make the audio so much better. theres an app, it's only for bluetooth but i believe there are other versions of it for radio ect. It's called EQu by elephant candy. It saves your playlists and it lets you set up a equalizer. it made the music experience in my C300 a million times better as i have the audio 20, I can't imagine what it would do in a much better system.

Its weird that your new car doesn't remember boost, my 2012 C300 is always set to boost.
