We ordered the Silk Beige leather interior because, as per the "build" page on the MB site, the carpets and mats are also beige with this setup (Same as on our GLK).

The car arrived with dark brown (almost black) carpets and mats.
Gotta have the light color due to continual and profuse shedding by passenger #1, a yellow lab!

Anyone else have this issue?

I have the Silk Beige Leather interior and I have the dark brown carpet, it's how they come. I know that some of the pictures on the MB website depict the lighter carpet but I actually looked at pictures of cars produced before ordering, they all had the brown carpet. So no surprise.

That's impossible -------go over your order an all the SA order codes(is that what you wanted)----do they match, if they didn't match why did you accept delivery??

Blutoe - plz understand that carpet color is not called out in the MB build/spec sheet.

On the DOG the "accent" color for interior - which is door-panels/console as well as carpet color.

From what I've seen, the carpets in all color schemes of the GLC are all dark. Usually brown with the Silk Beige and Espresso brown interior and the espresso brown and black interior. And black with the black, the designo black, and the designo black and platinum white interior. I personally prefer the dark carpets due to staining. But I do understand your concern about shedding. If you want a light carpet, oddly enough, you might want to look at the c class. I believe I've seen them with beige carpets.
