Dark Ash Open-Pore Trim
I put in an order a week ago and the SA told me not to hold my breath on diesel because the diesel model isn't close to getting emissions approval, etc in Canada.
I ordered a factory build with a bunch of options (premium, premium plus, Burmester, 360 camera, sports, LED, hand free trunk) as well as the open pore dark ash trim and now the SA is telling me that Germany says dark ash is not available.
I saw the message above about the MB.ca site removing the dark ash - and checked myself that this was the case on Monday (I ordered on Saturday), but now it's back up as of this morning. I'm trying to see if I can still get it but not hopeful. I am not crazy about the other trim options and this may be a dealbreaker for me...

I was told that we wont see new Mercedes diesels until the Bluetec class-actions are resolved and the new cars receive environmental approval.
A number of competitors have gas engines that have almost equivalent fuel economy, so thinking I might go that way when trading my GLK250. Was thinking it might be a GLC.
