Glc300 Garmin Map Pilot

Can somebody clarify this? I just checked this site http://configurator.mercedes-benz-ac...96557CC2E3FE1B . It says my GLC will be able to install the Garmin Map Pilot.

In Australian cars the Garmin pilot is standard via a SD card.

I believe they have different models for US and other parts of the world. I recently purchased GLC300 in USA without the multimedia package and dealer says that there is GARMIN SD card available of South America region. SD card for NA region is not available for my car, which sounds strange. Car does not have a SD card slot in center console. I am wondering how would this work.

Also, the link mentioned in previous thread does not work. can you please send the link which works.
