Enabling video in motion in a GLC

Does this also allow internet access. The web page implies that it does.
Does this impact any of the codes that would trip a warranty issue.. i.e. warranty is voided?
Not too concerned about the display warranty but rather the rest of the vehicle.

not at all, it's the safest method there is and can be restored back to factory settings at anytime

This product is clearly meant for use of passengers and not the driver. Even without this modification, that screen is capable of displaying plenty of other real-time information that shouldn't be focused on while driving. It's no different than someone choosing to text while driving... just don't do it, doesn't mean your passengers can't. By your logic, you shouldn't bring a cellular phone into the car since you'll be risking everyone's lives.

And frankly it's a bit ridiculous since one's phones have much more options than what is offered by this display. AND the phone screen is more difficult to read.
But again, for the web items, which is my primary purpose, my passenger will be doing the inputs and describing the outputs. (things like sports scores for the most part.)

You're right about cell phones, maps, radio controls and so on . . . but please note that the now-infamous Tesla auto-drive fatal accident is widely blamed on the owner watching Harry Potter while letting his car drive.

That driver was mentally incapable of prioritizing the safety of driving first. If one's capable of not looking at passengers in their car while talking to them then I'm sure they can easily ignore a video on the screen.

You would simply run the SD card once more to unlock it

Surely that would depend on what MB put in their software update? I'm assuming the SD car patches part of their software - if MB change that part of the software or even looks to block SD card updates to that area then it won't work?
