Nice VIN check
Found on the C Class forum. With VIN, returns model, color, and all (I think) options/build codes. May be useful for those wondering whether their incoming or current car "has that thing".

I signed up for the $5.00 report. Only after I paid did they insist on getting my phone number. Nope. So I contacted them immediately and asked for a refund. I get enough stupid texts and calls as it is, having this number for 23 years. Borders on a deceptive trade practice to insist on your phone number after you pay. Beware.

I used the free mbvin when I was looking to buy my 2020 GLC. I have not had to use a site that charges for a report because, for me, there was enough info on free sites to really help with the selection process.
Many of the telemarketing calls I get are from spoofed numbers and my number is likely computer generated. My solution (Android) is simply block all incoming calls from numbers that are not in my contact list.

I have Magic Jack. The number is not known to anyone except relatives. I was tempted to use it to see if I might get calls on it. Then I laid down till the feeling went away. They emailed back today that they were refunding my 5 bucks.
