Sport exhaust

Does anyone have any videos of the GLC sport exhaust? The code in the DOG is U21.

I saw a youtube video of the GLA45 exhaust and I think its the same package code - but I'm not 100% sure if the GLC has the same sound.

It is a completely different engine, and sounds nothing at all like a gla45. Thank goodness

Of which engine? GLC220d, GLC250d, GLC250, GLC300, GLC300e, GLC43 AMG? Being a little more specific would help

it's only an available option for the glc43, so presumably that's what he was referring to

I see what you're talking about. "active exhaust" I don't see any info on this other than the name, but if I were to guess, I would say it will do the backfire/pop during upshifts and downshifts in sport+ like on other models.

I don't think there is a sport+ mode without the Air body control.

I thought the regular GLC300 with the sport package came with this "active exhaust", but I don't see it on the MBUSA website (or on the C class build either for that matter).

no it is a new feature and only for the coupe currently. And there is a sport+ with all of the GLC models (and most models aside from CLA/GLA actually) It's just different trans/throttle mapping. With ABC it also ties the suspension in.

sounds nice - I like it. What are the chances that the glc43 and the glc300 coupe have the same exhaust?

WOW! I've never actually heard or driven the car that I've ordered. Mine went into build yesterday. That sounds FANTASTIC. I'm even more excited now

So do the American, the question is - is it the same exhaust as on the GLC43?

So they made 2 separate "active" exhausts just for the GLC coupe model? (since no other non-AMG benz seems to have this exhaust

Actually I think I finally found a video of the "regular" GLC300 coupe exhaust -

Sounds good to me

C450, GLC43
GLC43 exhaust compared to GLC 300 exhaust will be nearly identical to C43/C450 vs C300 exhaust. The 43 models will be much more aggressive with more pronounced crackles and burbles in sport+ mode as well.

300 models will be whisper quiet in comfort mode unless you are stomping on the gas. The 43 models will have a little growl to them, even in comfort mode. The difference becomes very clear in the sport/sport+ modes.

They are completely different exhaust systems on the 43 vs the 300. If you want a performance exhaust on the GLC 300 you will have to go aftermarket. AWE already makes a solid performance exhaust for the C300. I'm willing to wager they will also spec one out for the GLC 300 is there is enough interest.
