Garmin Navigation

I was told even if I don't have navigation package in my 2016 GLC300 I can still have Nav from Garmin. I was told there should be SD card slot in middle console, but I couldn't locate it.

If anybody has some knowledge regarding this and can share it with me I would appreciate it.

I was told the same thing only to discover that the necessary SD card slot is not present in North American models.

Mercedes GLC 250 4matic 2017 Iridium silver, with beige/brown interior.
It's been optional in Europe (or at least in Sweden).
From model year 2017 it's standard, I was told.

Does anyone have experience using it in the 2017 GLC? Does it work well? Do get real time traffic and are updates free? I have seen some people selling the SD card on ebay. Will those work?

Thanks for the info

For US models, the answer is no. This was based on my SA telling me that the Garmin option is not viable in the 2016's. So take this for what it's worth..

A gaggle of MB's
The best suggestion I can make - use your cell for Nav - and have it give you voice instructions over BlueTooth

That's what I told my gf to do. We have nav in 2 other cars we never use but then her excuse is she can't use voice command to call me.

it's actually wasting money ..
Very slow calculating time..I never used it after bought for my c class..phone's google map or ios map is way better to find address and type in.

Garmin MB SD card is over $500 and it's going to married with the first car use...so you can't resell it. The Graphic is like 10 years old version.

Is there a way to get voice command to work without having a nav?
