My start/stop has stopped working. The green light is on at the console switch, but it never activates. This includes the same places where it used to come on.

Since I find it annoying, I'm considering not having it fixed, but does anybody know if this might affect anything else?

There may be something wrong with another vehicle system and the start/stop system has thus decided not to engage. (e.g. alternator/battery - although I would assume these would throw a check engine warning). To be safe take it to the dealer.
