Hi All - My stowage compartment in the front center console is stuck in the closed position. I put a USB charger and cord in the cigarette lighter socket and am afraid that the cord is blocking me from opening it. It will not budge. Any suggestions other than taking it to the dealer (73 miles away)?

Just a thought: maybe you could run a string and slip it into the joint (holding it with each of your hands on either side where it comes out) and wiggle it back and forth in hopes of unseating the cord...?

Problem solved. Did something very similar to what was recommended and ran a business card around all the edge and it must have dislodged the cord enough to clear the lock. Thank you for responding.
