Diamond Silver vs. Iridium Silver

For those of you looking to choose between the two, I thought this picture might be of use -- just so happened to have my in-laws' E-class parked next to our GLC today.

Apologies for the graininess of the shot (and the branch in the foreground).

From the pic, different but each nice in their own way. I wonder if most could identify which is which if they weren't side by side.

The diamond silver is bluer, it's a very pretty car and more unusual than the iridium. We had a diamond silver SL ten years ago. In some light it looks light blue.

I don't think that photo does it justice at all, Iridium is light and bright and Diamond is rather blue. Both distinctive features seem to have disappeared in that example.

I used to have Iridium silver and absolutely love it; I don't mind Diamond silver but that blue tint looks a little dated to me as that kind of silver was all the rage in the mid nineties and lots of cars had it. Still nice.

Couldn't agree more.
To each his own of course, but I personally dislike
the blueish tone that's very evident in Diamond...

......and a Happy New Gear to all forumites.....!
