Cant connect to Internet

GLC 300
Cant connect to Internet
Hi, so I just got the GLC 300, paired my IPhone 7 with it, in my phone settings I have hot spot as enabled but when I try to connect to internet radio the car tries and I can see on my phone that there is a connection trying to get in but it does not even get to the point where the card prompts me to get the password. Has anyone been able to do this successfully and if so how and what am I doing wrong?

GLC 300
I am in Canada, I got the internet to work for couple of minutes, it seems there is a problem with the car tethering with my IPHONE 7. It freezes on the trying to connect to it so what I did was not wait till it finishes the process but switch the car to a different menu and then access internet and it seemed to work but not for long.
