Ok just curious. I know when I blast the windshield with the heater sometimes they get so dry that the wipers shudder across it. A little bit of moisture is a good thing. This is in pretty much every car I've ever owned, so I thought it might be a culprit here.

It does seem to be somewhat uncommon though, maybe I'll get the luck of the draw.

I'm also a prospective buyer and had a lot of the same questions/concerns as OP so no need to start a new thread.

I have a configuration in mind and am planning to go to the dealership today to get one ordered. My dealership has already told me that I can't order 17s anymore and that I must order an 18. Delivery in late July is probable. Not sure of the differences right now, especially in price, but I've been told that they're minimal. We'll see how it pans out.

Much like OP, I am set on getting the LED headlights, but don't want to pay the extra $$$$ for the entire P3 package. Will I notice a difference?

The lighting package is now broken out. There is no more P2 or P3. So, you can get just LEDs or you can get the adaptive lighting without having to add all the driver assistance gear.

Here is a post with MY18 DOG, which should provide some clarity for those with questions about packages, etc.

The adaptive head lights are great and out perform HID (i had a 535)

The wiper issue, clean the blades with alcohol or good vodka (if you really like your car). Stopped my chattering blades.

Just traded in my E350 and IMHO, the Turbo 4 feels like a rocket ship compared to the 6, of course the 6 sounded better.

I have the heated wheel / seats and I do have the piano black/silver interior. I may down the road look for the carbon fiber center console or the black matte wood finish. Shiny black surface is hard to keep clean.

...have cleaned wiper blades with alcohol, have had angle of attack of the arm to the window adjusted, have had glass company professionally clean class (MB called them in), had blades replaced three times, had glass ground, had glass treated (cleaned, really) with Bon Ami and steel wool. Nothing. Dealer now says they are out of bullets...and it is what it is. And this is not an uncommon issue, do a search and see.

Oh very cool. I put my order in today and the guy didn't bring this up at all. I bet he didn't even know about it at all.

I was also told today that I couldn't get the mb-tex beige interior with either the sport or night package. I don't know why we couldn't get it to work in their system so I'm not sure if that is a system glitch or what the deal was. I was forced to order the black interior even though I'm not thrilled about it so I'll try and push him to figure out how I can get the beige

anyone try good after market blades? Would this help? I notice that the blades on my car are extremely flimsy and thin.

I have a 2017 that I ordered in Dec 16. I have Sport (321), Night(521) and Silk Beige Leather (225) interior. The dash is MB-Tex dark brown contrast stitched, leather. Seats are fairly light beige, almost cream colored.

Pretty Interior. Unfortunately for 2018 on Sport/AMG build for the 300 only can get black.

I wonder why they changed it? It seemed to be popular when I ordered mine.

It is just a few inches for the audible alarm, but there is a proximity bar on the dash that gives you a feel. If you go to the link you should be able to download the owners manual for this and other questions you may have.
