I'm actually thinking of getting the whole car wrapped to include those pieces. That plastic puts me off a touch. I think that is why I like black so much as the plastic bits blend in better.

Painted Wheel Flares
I've had 3 X3 M-Sports and have a GLC on order w/Sport & Night pkgs., and will probably paint the flat black wheel flares and front & rear bumper segments body color; I don't like the flat black trim elements.

What color do you have on order? The X3 M-Sport looks much better with painted flares. Not sure why the plastic look is a thing....in my mind it doesn't look more rugged just looks cheap.

It is Obsidian Black W/Night Pkg., I agree, the flat black flares and bumper trim might be appropriate for an Explorer, but it detracts from the looks of the GLC.
