I am not sure if I have the same issue as you but last week my command did freeze during my drive, which is about 25 minutes when I tried to use the command, but everything else is still working in the back ground. After I got home, turn the car off and haven't had the same issue yet.
Command is freezing.

Seriously - I don't see this much but I wonder if you're in an area where data connectivity is poor.
Has anyone worked out which cell carrier Mercedes is using?
BTW Loving the free unlimited WiFi you get for the first three months included. Kids can use iPads in the car. No roaming. Blazingly fast. Just pair up using the built in WiFi. Shame its not just $19/month - you have to get the $199/year package to extend it.

That'll be because you're listening to the Weekend for which you're penalized.

i would hope they would do it for free since you are probably not that far out of warranty and i cant imagine there is anything a user can do to hang up the software, so I would think its a programming bug

If your Command screen ever freezes or acts strange, hold down the eject button on the CD player for 10-15 seconds. It will reboot the system. The reboot usually fixes whatever has gone wrong.

So my wife's 2018 GLC started stuck on "Activating Navigation" nearly every time we drive out of our underground garage - once it gets in this state, BT media/calls will not have sound so even though your device shows as connected you cannot hear music or calls. You can't even recover by turning off the engine at a stop light, and it doesn't seem to self-resolve even after an hour of driving.
It used to happen maybe <10% of the time, but its happening 90% of the time after they did a system update. MB's finally gave up trying to fix it with resets and they're recommending doing a full system replacement. Not sure what to do, little concerned about them going with this approach without knowing whats the problem.
Anyone else have this issue? I'm guessing its a bug where the system is unable to recover after losing GPS for few hours. Other cars that we've driven never had this issue.
