Cylinder head faults
Definitely don't feel great about this, but also really glad we leased the car. Anyone here experience anything similar? Hopefully not!

Your four year/50,000 mile warranty should cover repair costs and keep you out of the poor house.
I know this is of little solace, but of the thousands of automobiles produced there is bound to be a small number that will experience a major failure. In my busness its called infant mortality. Or as some of us would say, "Sh*t happens."
Hopefully your service department will pursue the repair posthaste. Stay in touch with them.
Hang in there, it will get better.
On the bright side, the wife traded in her C class for a brand new GLC loaner. It is pretty bare bones and missing many of the features we have on the ours, but she hated driving a car so this is much better. Just a bummer since the car we are paying for will be in the shop for more than a month.

Yip.....**** happens! No reason the car cannot be repaired and returned to make you 100% confident again. Had a similar situation with a catastrophic failure in a VW Touareg engine which entailed the complete replacement of engine. Was like new when I got it back! No further issues.
