Although new to German cars, I don't think they do leather very well. The standard (optional) leather in the MB feels like the plastic MB-Tex. I've not touched the $3,800.00 MB Napa leather though.
$3,800.00 for Napa leather!! Butter soft Napa leather came standard on both my Kia Stinger and Kia K900. You are right regarding BMW's Vernasca leather upgrade. I have it in my X3 M40i and it is terrible. What a waste of money that was.
