Rear Struts?

Anybody having any issue with rear struts? My 2016 GLC (just bought it used with 24k miles) feels like the rear struts are bad. it does this thing where it feels like a circus wagon (rocks back a forth over bumps) and the rear tires sometimes "skip" over rapid bumps.

It does not have air control.

Certainly sounds like it could possible be rear structs/shocks.
Try with the car parked bouncing each rear corner of the car, it should stop with no more than one/one and half movements. Try that at all four corners.
If more up & down movement occurs I would be checking for any sign of leaks on the shocks/struts.

If you have just bought it, get the dealer to check it out surely you have some sort of warranty as this should of been checked before resale.

A gaggle of MB's
Frankly - at that mileage - have the tires been replaced w/fresh ?

The Extended Mobility tires are not my fav to begin with - and as you get to last 1/3rd of the tread frankly get pretty bumpy/reactive

This is partly the issue with the steel spring setup. We have had skipping from new, on certain roads at around 80kph, usually on slight curves.
Check your tire pressures, we increased from 32 psi to 36 psi, some improvement overall. Rotate tires if not been done before, recommend rotation every 10,000km, helps with tyre wear and stress.
We have 20: Pirelli run flats currently.
We do not get the same skip sensation from our GLC Coupe , it has normal tires, but it has air suspension, so much better.

I am about to switch to regular tires and get rid of the run flats. When pushing up/down on the rear of the car it seems to bounce about 3 times before it settles where the front you can barely push down at all. I'm going to take to the dealer and have them look at it.
