S550
head up display

I have a new S550 cabriolet, with HUD. In my normal driving position, the display is very light and the left side is frequently not visible. However, if I move my head slightly to the right, the HUD becomes very clear and bright. Is there a lateral adjustment to the HUD that can resolve this problem?

I can't speak to the A217 (your S550 cabrio), and I can't find an A217 subforum to point you toward for more relevant help. What I *can* tell you is that the HUD in my '17 GLC300 has no lateral adjustment at all, only vertical.

Can you comfortably adjust your driving position so that the HUD is more visible?

The HUD is one of my favorite features of my GLC. I hope you can work out the kinks and enjoy yours to the fullest!

I have a similar problem with mine. I have to have my seat much higher than I want, to see the full HUD.

I can't see any way to adjust it.

You go into settings menu with the home button. Click on heads up display and adjust the height of the display.
