Yip, my e-mail is working fine. I have the Audio20 installed in my GLC and I am using a Samsung S8 phone. It also worked well with my older Samsung S6.
The car will not allow you to read the e-mail while it is moving but it will allow you to see the subject line. Once the car is stranding still, it allows you to read the whole e-mail.

No, nothing special was needed. It probably comes down to the type of phone you are using. You must also grant all the necessary permissions on your phone for the services that may be used by the bluetooth connection
