Audio system failure in 2018
The audio system stopped working in my 2018 GLC300 last week at 780 miles. Fortunately this was at 2PM on a weekday, I had the day off and was driving home at the time, and I was only a few miles from my dealer when it stopped working.
The displays all looked OK and would show as if the source was playing, but no sound at all and the words "device unavailable" appeared underneath. I tried a number of things to no avail and then headed to the dealer.
It took about 2.5 hours to fix. They said they downloaded and installed updated software. Seems odd considering it's a 2018 model that was built less than 90 days ago, but I'm certainly no expert. It still doesn't work very well with my iPhone 6 but otherwise it seems to be OK now.

Thanks for the heads up! Good to be aware of some of those oddball things that members experience. Agreed that is pretty lame given you just got your car......and mine was in the same batch that hit Baltimore in July.
