Anti-rust treatment

Should I treat me car every year if I'm planing to keep it for a long time. Should I let them make holes on doors/tailgate to shoot oil inside?

I'm in Montreal so the car get in contact with a lot of salt during the winter. So i'd like to have your opinion...

Your car is adequately rust proofed from the factory. Do not let anyone drill holes in it!

Best preventive maintenance on a modern vehicle to prevent corrosion is frequent washing. Paying particular attention to the underside. My method is to wash very soon after driving on a salted road and then again a couple of days later so as to remove whatever salt might remain.

dieseldoc's comment above is right on.

Automobile manufacturers today go to great lengths to make their products extremely resistant to corrosion.

Do not let anyone drill holes to apply anti-corrosion compounds anywhere. Mercedes makes extensive use of cavity waxes and seam sealers, which may not be compatible with aftermarket corrosion protection materials.
