MB Extended Warranty v Original 4 YR/50,000
I am about to pull the trigger on a MB Extended Warranty for my 2016 GLC.
I have a copy of the EW. I've read it and am a bit surprised that it doesn't seem to have a section specifically outlining the differences in the EW compared to the Original New Car warranty.
In other words, a detailed list of what is NOT included.I have read the EXCLUSIONS but it mostly seems to list wear and tear items as excluded.
Can anyone help with more specific big ticket items that may not be covered/
For instance, I know the MINI COOPER EW specifically excludes electronics.

Try to de-stress - the Extended New Car Warranty is EXACTLY that - it extends the original New Car Warranty - there are no "added" exclusions caused by the extension.
Everything covered under the New Car Warranty stays covered.
Everything covered under the New Car Warranty stays covered.

hmmmm, I don't think that rattles are covered with the extended warranty. only original, I might be wrong. still EW is a must for me as I plan to keep the car to 100K miles.

According to my Finance guy, who comes via referrals from this forum, there are some exclusions.
He lists:

- Any factory installed rear seat entertainment systems
- Rear window/pano roof sunshades
- Standard shocks/struts
- Exterior / interior trim pieces.
