Heating features

now that the weather has cooled off a little some quick questions

is there some kind of auxiliary heating for the heater, seemed like warmish air was blowing pretty quickly after startup (was not very cold outside but was cool and the air had some warmth)
for the heated steering wheel where the grab notch is seemed like it was cool on the outside - is this normal?

and ... could they have put the steering wheel heater switch in a worse place? and the light is a nice touch, too bad you cant see it unless you turn the wheel. wow. what a big miss on this placement

I read somewhere that there is an aux electric heater that provides warm air whilst the engine warms up. The aux heater is disabled when in eco mode though.

Some have it and some don't!
Depends on the model / market.
Since you have the heated steering wheel I'm guessing you would probably have the auxiliary heater also. Do you have a 'REST' button along with your heating controls?
