I have an iPhone and simply connect the phone via USB, start the app and select the music - works great. I have downloaded music so I do not use any data. You can use Bluetooth but I have not tried that approach. I think that you need to have Spotify running when you connect your phone but I have not investigated as to whether you can do all this via Command system.

If it works anything like Pandora, I've had great success through the Bluetooth audio connection. It even shows current music information. The sound quality is exponentially better than through Sirius XM, which is very compressed. If I had known beforehand, I might not have renewed my Sirius subscription.

Note: phone has paired and is already connected via Bluetooth.
Start Spotify on Samsung phone.
On GLC select Media source "Bluetooth", it connects, plays the tracks
.....allows me to skip forward a track and pause a track, using big round know or touch pad and volume roller on console.
Song info comes up on GLC screen.
It works!
Edit: I have the COMAND system upgrade, not sure if this applies to the standard Audio package.
