How much can you fit?
I know to some this may be a sacrilegious topic, but here it goes...
How much stuff have you been able to cram into the cargo area?
Has anyone tried bringing home any lumber? Wondering if an 8ft 2x4 would fit if the back seat was down and the passenger seat was pushed either all the way forward or maybe layed down as flat as it can go (which does not seem to be very far).
Thanks.
Mike

I have carried multiple 8' 2x4s with packing blanks in strategic places to prevent scratching. With the passenger seat back, the end of the 2x4s can be placed in the passenger foot well. Blanket wraps the 2x4 where it enters the foot well and lays on the center console and touches seat backs. I loaded several 2x4s in my X3 the same way
