Seeking advice on the B service.
I have only 11k miles on my 2016 GLC. I did the A service one year ago at the dealer. I'm thinking to do the B service at an independent repair shop to save money.
Called up a shop and the friendly owner said with so few miles on it I don't need to do all the B service, such as brake fluid. He said I could wait until 20k miles for that.
I want to maintain the warranty though. Is it true I can pick and choose among the B service items based on the mileage on the car?
Or do I have to do the whole B service?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Not sure about US but in UK all the B service gas to be carried out when due, doesn't matter how few miles you have done. Failure to do so invalidates warranty.

I would discuss your concerns with the service manager. Hopefully some sort of comprise can be reached. Whatever it takes its imperative the warranty be maintained.Originally Posted by LazyDriver

BTW you need to spend more time driving your GLC. Doing so is really good for morale.
