Radio mute during navigation announcement
New owner of 2018 GLC300W and love it. After devouring the manuals and hours playing with the myriad of settings, I am unable to get the radio to mute when the navigation makes an announcement (multimedia option). I have checked the fade option with no real change....browsing the web disclosed an option where I can supposedly check the level of mute including off...but can't find that setting.
Help?

Can't tell you what you want to know....
but are you aware that when the nav is speaking you can change volume with radio volume control in central console? You can also mute by using the push function on the volume control.

In the command system go into options-settings and there is an option audio fadeout which lowers the radio volume when traffic announcements are made, works on mine.

Thanks for the replies. I found the setting that fades the radio volume but the effect is negligible with the radio still clear just under the navigation announcement. What is interesting is that the radio mutes during traffic announcements. Web research seems to show that there was a mute setting in the past (go figure). I am chalking it off to a Mercedes idiosyncracy...
Still love the car...
Now to build up enough courage to let Drive Pilot actually bring the car to a full stop in heavy traffic....never thought I would own a car that drove itself (and does a good job).
