Strange Sound

Strange Sound
OK this is a long shot but i will give it a try
in the year or so i have owned the vehicle i heard a very loud strange sound 3 or 4 times
kind of sounded like something metal sliding against something metal and then a clang at the end
first time i thought it may have been something metal loose in the rear area but i found nothing
happened i think 2 more times
most recently today
was loud and definitely ended with big clang
started me to say the last
its a long shot but i thought id ask. extremely puzzling
i thought maybe a sound from the radio but no definitely seems like a metal sound from the car. form behind me perhaps...
and i cant say when it happened i went over a big bump or anything. just on the highway
