Driver seat issues

Just got a new GLC 300 in Texas on Aug. 9. Every week since it has been back in the shop due to the driver seat fuse blowing. They can't seem to find root cause. It's back in today for the 4th time. Anyone else every run into this issue?

Depending on laws in your area, you could look into the lemon law.

A gaggle of MB's
I suggest you call your Service Advisor - clearly tell him that you will call Mercedes Customer Care unless they agree to warranty replacement the entire front seat motor system and wiring - your "hole card" here in 1st the warning to them you will call Mercedes Customer Care - your final card is actually calling Mercedes Customer Care with latest service ticket in front of you - Mercedes Customer Care opens up a whole different can of bad a*s on the Service Dept management

Finally fixed!

After 4 visits they finally fixed the issues.
  1. Short in steering column
  2. Short in seat
Thought MB would have better quality control. Also found out they replaced the fuse before I bought the car, so it was an issue from the time the dealership received the car.

Glad the issue is fixed but it seems really sketchy on the part of the dealership for not disclosing the issue before delivery. If you have any other problems do as the other posters have mentioned and call Mercedes Customer Care to have it documented.

Customer care

I did contact customer care. Not sure if it helped, but it was fixed the next week they were contacted.
