Winter tires- can MY2019 take same tire/wheels as MY2017?
I have a MY 2019 GCL300 4matic with oem size 235/60R18 tires on 8.0x18 wheels. I want to go to 17in wheels for winter. One of TireRack's,recommendations for MY2107 is a package with size 235/65R17 on 17x7.5 wheels. But Tirerack doesn't show 17" (or 18") wheels for their MY2018 packages and has nothing (yet?) for MY2019.
For Blizzak DM-V2, Tirerack shows both tire sizes have the same diameter - 29.1"
Our 2019's have "big" calipers but are they any bigger than on MY2017?
is there any other change since MY2017 that would make 17" wheels not work on MY2019?:
