WTF: Brand New GLC 2019 with ugly painting?
Brand new GLC 2019 I went to pick up today. I notice the following things on the door. What is this?
Check out the white-ish spot on the door. This is a brand new car, I haven't even started the engine. Is it caused by waxing or painting or what?
I haven't pay my cheque. Do you think this white-ish spot is fixable?

Stuff happens. Don't accept it - very simple. For your first post, kind of an odd thing to say. It's a product like any other. If there are flaws, make the seller correct it or get another.
What it is - shouldn't be your issue btw, just that it goes away. If it's a brand new car, repainting the doors would not be acceptable to me though they do it all the time in port when damage occurs during shipping. But - in those cases, it's factory people who do that so they do it with some level of skill and experience.
Best of luck to you if this was a custom order, otherwise go enjoy another!

"Best of luck to you if this was a customer order".
What do you mean by this?
I am worrying there are more stuff happening beyond the paint. I mean, if the painting can go wrong, how do you other things wouldn't go wrong? This might be a sign of lemon car

It looks to be some type of contamination during shipment to the dealer - which can happen - frankly rare thing ...
If the dealer says they will take care of it - it will most likely take 2-3 days - be patient you will have your new Mercedes soon - if it was me I would ask them to give you "Mercedes Exterior Protection Package" for free...

^^ +1 This is something that happened during shipping. There's a roughly zero percent chance that a unit could pass inspections and be released for shipping with this flaw.

Do NOT pay and take delivery until the paint is 100% acceptable to you. They will do it swiftly this way, but will take their time if you take delivery first.
How the h*ll did it pass the dealership’s pre-delivery inspection? Not impressed with their lack of attention to detail.

I had similar issue....it was from the plastic protection film from shipping (my case).
Once you get some dust on it, it looks like sort of scratches..
I was freaked but washed out with wet towel...try it or let the dealer cleans it.

Why you even ask? This is a new car you have not even paid for. If anything is there you are unhappy with just do not pay and walk away. There are many more GLC's on the lot I am sure.....
