My first 8,000 km's with the 2019 GLC300 4 Matic

Major snow storm upon us so driving report will follow later, 10cm's on the way
The last 2 weeks have been a nightmare with the ME app, who else was getting the " Somethings gone wrong" messages...LOL
Would try to start car with app, it wouldn't work, sometimes it did, and it would send me a message it didn't work, and I would look outside and she was running
Windshield wipers are the worst piece of engineering I have ever seen on any car period.
One thing though I am super impressed with is how fast the car warms up. Today temp was -3 and within 30 seconds after starting warm air is flowing through the dash, I am still looking for a fusion reactor to explain this.
I have to keep reminding myself NOT to pull up to the diesel pump.............

So after a half foot of snow last night, here is how she did.

1. The stock tires are hard as heck this became apparent pretty quick but with the snow and temps things were very icy and slippery underneath so some sliding around corners and plowing as well.
2. In an acceleration test it did not like that and it was either the brakes came on or it chopped the throttle back or both, but safety gear worked and kept me straight.
3. Did some acceleration tests on an icy bridge uphill, and she kept well mannered and straight, this was impressive, I expected some traction loss. Did this with cruise on to get that response as well. Well mannered for sure the stock tires did better than I thought

Both my Audi A3 TDI and my BMW 328d had an electric heater that automatically comes on when you first start the car and phases out as the engine comes up to temp. I would not be at all surprised if our GLCs have the same feature.
