Lights question

Is there a way to turn the headlights off while keeping the DRL on?

I believe that you can move the headlight switch to "off" (and not auto) - the headlights (and taillights) should remain off. I just keep it on auto so the headlights are on when the daylight gets low enough. I have seen many people driving with only their DRL's on and it is dangerous since in the dark you cannot see them from the rear unless they put their brakes on.

But this turns the DRLs off too, at least here in US.

Probably true. In Canada we cannot turn off DRL...and why would you?

Cannot turn off DRLs on USA models. There is no off position on the switch.

if you go into the settings menu (on the screen between the tach and speedo) there appears to be a setting where you can turn the DRL on or off..

Illegal to turn off if fitted in UK.
