GLC300 Whining noise - Brake or in Park
Hello everyone,
I picked up a new GLC300 4Matic recently (traded in a 2016 3.0T Audi Q5 for it).
One thing I just noticed today, there is a high pitch electrical noise in the vehicle when I apply the "HOLD" brake (pressing down hard) or have the car in Park without the emergency brake on.
It sounds like electrical interference (like a dentist drill), it's soft but there.
Does anyone else have this and is it normal?

Not sure about your first description, but when you stop and then put the GLC into "P" (Park), it automatically applies the parking brake and makes that noise...at least it does on my 18 GLC. I dont believe I've ever heard the sound while using the brake Hold feature.
