First Problem with GLC

After 14 months and 10,340 miles I had my first problem with my 2018 GLC 4matic. After starting my car last week first thing in the morning I suddenly received a warning that the Active Blind Spot, Active Lane Keep Assist, Active Brake Assist and ESP were all inoperative. I drove about 2 miles and pulled over to the side of the road, turned the car off and started it again. All the warning messages went away and didn’t appear again until my trip home a couple of hours later. I again pulled over to the side of the road and again turned the car off and on again. This time the warnings disappeared but came back a mile down the road. Also this time the Check Engine Light also came on. In addition the car was very sluggish accelerating from a stop but once over 20MPH acted normally. None of the warning lights would go out so the next day I brought the car in for service. Turns out The car had defective “pins and plugs on the connector for the gas pedal”. Unfortunately the parts were on backorder and the car spent 7 days sitting at the dealer before it was repaired. All seems to be well now but I am concerned this issue may come back. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

This happened to me on Tuesday! I have 13,400 miles on my car. After I turned the car off and restarted, it has not come back on. I thought maybe it was just a glitch but now I am concerned.

Since it came and went and car is unner warranty, you may want to go to dealer and have them take a look, chances are a code was stored, maybe they will fix something, or, at a minimum they could at least identify what it was

I had the identical experience one time about a year ago. Same solution of turning car off and back on. Dealer service dept said "...they do that sometimes." I have not had the problem since.

This just happened to our 2016 with about 14K miles on it. "Active Blind Spot Assist Inoperative" & "Active Lane Keeping Assist Inoperative" Also, the Distronics
Cruise Control system disengaged momentarily but came back online in what felt like less than a second.

I'll call MBZ when we get back from our vacation.
