2016 GLC300 Front Strut Noise
My car is at 33k miles and when i go over pot holes or rails or any sort of "bigger" imperfection on the road over 40mph, i hear the struts spring bouncing and feel the steering wheel shaking like the spring itself. It is almost like a loose guitar string noise and it goes on few seconds and few more seconds if it is a big impact. I took it to the dealership, of course first try they could not duplicate the problem so then i had to go drive with the foreman. He was very surprised how obvious this problem was. Now they are going to work on the front struts maybe replace them both and fingers crossed that will fix it. But on top of that i am worried about the rack itself, because the only way that you would feel anything in your steering wheel that severe is travelling through the outer tie rods to the inner tie rod the rack and the connecting rod and your steering wheel eventually your hands... I feel like it might just be a bigger issue, we will see.
I just wanted to see if anybody else is having the same problem or had.
Right now i am driving a loaner C300 no feedback on the steering wheel whatsoever no matter how big the pot hole is
which is the way it should be.Thanks for the comments.
