2019 GLC 350e new owner questions!

Just took delivery of a brand new 2019 GLC350e with the AMG Night package (19” wheels) .I’m pretty happy with it so far but I’ve noticed its a little harder than usual to find mods for this type of vehicle. Here are the annoying questions lol:

1) Is there coding available to remove the seatbelt chime?

2) Do they make a front lip(s) / spoilers to choose from?

3) Will the staggered GLC 43 21” AMG wheels work on my car?

4) Where do you recommend purchasing OEM Mercedes parts at a discounted rate?

5) Is there a recommended MOD to get apple car play or phone mirroring onto the COMAND System?

Thanks in advance everyone!

Hey!!! Congrats on your new car!!!!

1) not from the dealer but depending on where you live you may be able to find a Mercedes coding place
2 & 3) I believe that anything that fits the GLC 43 can fit the 350e the only recommendation would be to see if you could retrofit the rear wheel arch trim that the 43 have if you are gonna fit the bigger tires due to the fact that on the 43 the rear tires are wider than the front ones
4) Online but the best bet is buying parts from crashed cars since Mercedes isn't known for giving discounts in their parts IMO
5) there is no coding solution for Carplay if you have command but you can buy a carplay smart box (bought one myself) which pretty much brings carplay to your car as an aftermarket solution. You control it by using the OEM screen and the OEM command knob.

Best of luck!!!!!

Nice trim! I just got a Selenite Gray in AMG night package. The chime usually goes away after 60 secs. or so, at least that's how it is in our GL. I haven't tried it yet in the GLC.

I have the ApplePlay but I still prefer to use my iphone to manage the Navi apps like Waze. With the GLC screen on the small size and not being touch screen, I find it difficult to move around the app quickly.

Everything else has been very positive so far, I came out of a Cayenne plug-in.

I just have to figure out how to set the start time for charging, to take advantage of lower rates in the middle of the night. So far, even if I set a departure date (+8 hrs ahead) the car still charges immediately after I plug it into a 240v wall outlet.
