Im new to the forum and happy to be part of the community. I recently purchased a 2016 glc 300 with 20k miles for a screaming deal from a friend ($22,000 usd) and figured I could use some of the money I saved on some upgrades.
The car has the stock halogen lights and I’m wondering if I can buy a set of the upgraded headlights with the led eyebrow and projection bulbs on eBay for an swap out. I love the look and I love the light pattern when driving.
Any other upgrades I should look into that are sealable?
I don't have specifics for you but my guess is they would need to be coded into the ECU. They should work after that. I also don't recall of the GLC had lights like the GLA where if you have non halogen fronts, you also got different rears. So if you did have that situation on the GLC, and didn't do both sides and it's coded, it may throw errors. So couple of things to check into there. On the coding front, I haven't touched a Benz in a while, the tools got a bit gruesome.
