MY2020 AMG GLC 43/53?
I'm a long-time BMW guy about to pull the trigger on a MY20 X4 M40i. But I keep seeing the GLC Coupe on the road, and keep thinking about how much better Merc has executed the coupe style compared to BMW. Yesterday, I sat in a GLC for the first time. It had a designo interior and it really felt so much more upscale than the BMW. I haven't driven the car yet, but I know that I wouldn't consider anything other than a facelifted MY20 GLC. I know that both the MY20 GLC 300 and AMG GLC 63 have been announced, but I haven't seen anything on the model I'd be interested in - the MY20 AMG GLC 43 (or maybe it's successor, the AMG GLC 53?). Do any of the more informed users here know anything about what's happening with that model for 2020? Thanks for any insight you can provide me.

fabbrisd, thanks very much for the order guide. It's very helpful. fwiw, I have been to the (very large) local dealership and they had no information. My experience is that these type of user/enthusiast boards are a better resource, as your helpful post reinforced.

Mercedes just announced the new 2020 AMG GLC43 yesterday. Looks like it will be reaching dealers in the next few months, maybe September or October, just like it’s 300 and 63 siblings. Same 385hp 3.0 V6 as the facelift C43. Same interior and tech as new GLC’s. That’s the one to have.
