I use the same solution that they use for monitor screens. It's pretty inert. Spray the solution onto the cloth and wipe versus spraying on the screen.

Yes. The big thing to keep in mind with any type of paper is the amount of glue in it. Kimwipes are good, lens cleaning paper is better. Lens cleaning paper has no glue in it at all. Paper towels are full of glue. That's why your windshield gets smeared if you use the same wet paper towel too long. It's the glue coming out. I service microscopes for a living so I know.

I had a car wash attendant scratch my display screen while wiping it on my last car. As soon as I purchased my GLC, I purchased a glass screen protector from Amazon:
Amazon Amazon

It went on very easily and is invisible. I highly recommend to keep your screen safe.

My last car was a BMW that the screen got scratched. I can't say if Mercede's screens are easier to scratch as I put the protector on as soon as I got my GLC.

The screen protector seems to be very scratch resistant. I have had the screen protector on since February of this year and there are no marks on is whatsoever.

I noticed some tiny bubbles on my screen, is there any screen protector applied from the factory?

I've seen no bubbles in my screen. After I applied my own screen protector, there were a few bubbles after a couple of days but the protector came with a small tool to get the bubbles out.

My screen protector has been installed since February and I've had no scratches or problems with it. The only minor problem I had was my polarized sunglasses made the screen have a slight rainbow effect. I now keep my non polarized Oakley sunglasses in the car and the screen is crystal clear.
