Does the GLC 300 have a metal oxide windshield? Where to mount electronic pass?
My car is a California / USA 2016. Not quite sure where to mount the Fastrak device. There should be an ideal place to mount it if it is a metal oxide coated windshield. But, where?
I have a 2018 GLC43 and have an electronic toll transponder device mounted on the front windshield - centre top of the windshield and it works perfectly.

91 fast trak here. GLC lower left corner driver side no problem on window.
Finding the bare white EZ Pass unbearably ugly on my black GLC I got a black cover for it that sits on a silicone gel pad on the dashboard. Works great because it blends in with the dashboard and you barely notice it. I have never had a problem with a toll reader picking it up..
Lots of different covers available through Amazon, auto parts stores, etc.
Call your toll authority and ask if they have a plate-mounted unit. In Illinois we have that as an option - it also removes one more thing off the windshield.
