Replacement 10.5" android-based screen
Anyone install one of these? They seem to have finally fixed the issues we had with the first generations - screens are now non-glare, brighter, high resolution etc. Still pricy and for a leased car I am not 100% sure I want to go there. But the use of the stupid controller knob to run Car Play is making me insane. I swear it's more distracting to the drive than using an actual phone! (please don't!).
Instructions don't seem terrible - but I have leased for many years and every time it's time for a swap it's a mad scramble to uninstall radar detectors, cameras etc before taking it in. So this gives me some pause as well.
So please share your experiences with installing these things. Here is a pic of what I am talking about:
