Donut spare 2016 GLC 300 4 matic

Hello - I want to change my tires from run flat to normal. Using standard tires seems fine but I cannot figure out what spare I could use for this vehicle.
Thanks!

I ordered my 2020 GLC (standard 18" rims) with an optional OEM spare tire kit, which includes a compact spare, jack, etc. for $200. Don't know if your dealer could order something like this a la carte, but you might want to check.

Thanks so much for the reply! Apparently the donut spare doesn't exist for the 2016 GLC. I'm wondering if anyone knows a spare that might fit from another model.

Do a search on here. This has already been beaten to death.

Did something change between the 2016 and 2020 that would prevent interchanging wheels between models?

Hi Cindy. I am, in the same boat with a 2016, though mine may be a little more difficult as my 2016 is sport package, so I believe there is an issue with the caliper in front and the 19" rims which seem to rub, and most I have seen have just commented if I was unfortunate to get a front blow out, I would probably have to replace a non-flatted rear first and then swap that rear with the blown out front.

From what I have read, tough it is still seems a little unclear reading through the threads, a 18" spare off of a ML or GLE should work (I am assuming you have 18" wheels, BUT, many have had issues with the back cover not quite closing, and I think they may have had to use spacers as well.

While "do a search" may be somewhat valid, most of those threads are 2 years old or older and with a spare now available on the 2020, it is a valid question, in my mind, to ask if the 2020 spares would work on a 2016.

My New-To-Me 2016 came with new tires, so I will keep those for now and since it seems like the Pirellis only have around 25K - 30K life expectancy, will be facing this in 2 years when they are getting close to replace
