Wheel / Snow Tire Size Fitment
I have a 2016 GLC 300 4Matic with Sport Package (so 19" wheels) The AMG Wheels are 19j8 5x112 with 38 offset
I have been looking for a cheaper set of rims for winter / snow tires and found a gently used set off an Audi Q5 that looks like is 19j8 5x112 but 35 offset and they have 235/55R19 Snow tires on them.
If I am understanding correctly, the smaller offset means that the rim mount is closer to the hub/centerline so wondering if I may have clearance / rubbing, especially with the larger front calipers. Potentially I think I could get spacers as well.
Any thoughts or comments? Thanks

Check the TireRack.

Normally I just pick up Blizzaks though my last pair in the Infiniti was Michelin X-Ice.
Been seeing some good reviews on the Continental VikingContact 7 - Most US reviews look like fluff, but one other forum pointed to a Russian test site that was favorable and seems like they are known for more in depth tests. https://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forum...s-to-n-america
I had seen good things on the Goodyear IceGuard 2, but those seem Euro only.
Seems like many here like the Conti CrossContact for relplacing the Pirelli run flats, so that may have me leaning towards Conti - Looks like only semi-nock against the Viking7 is a little lower hydropplane / wet braking, but in terms of snow and ice , seems to be 1 or 2 across the board
