Auxiliary Battery
I have a 2017 GLC300, does anyone know where the auxiliary battery is located. I searched online and Mercedes has put these in several different locations in different vehicles. Everything from under the rear cover, next to the cabin filter and next to the main battery.

I was at the dealer and one of the issues was the Auto stop/start didn't appear to be working. They said every vehicle with A.S.S has the auxiliary battery and it was located in the trunk. They also asked If I got the battery warning light on the dash. My problem didn't turn out to be the auxiliary battery but they replaced what they called the "main starter battery" for another issue. I'm going to see if I can find the auxiliary battery this weekend and see if it does exist. I also read about the capacitor, but I didn't see it directly related to the GLC

The component in the link from snrbrtsn is a capacitor. WIS suggests the capacitor in a LHD (North American) vehicle is on the right (passenger's) side front door hinge pillar/footwell/under the glovebox area. Carpet needs pulled up in the passenger footwell.
