Windshield Replacement
I have 2019 GLC350E and my windshield recently needed to be replaced as results of crack caused by a rock hitting it in the freeway.
I took it to the dealer and they replaced it. My old windshield said acoustic glass while the new does not. I brought this up to their attention and they checked and doubled checked the part number based on my VIN number and advised there is only one option for windshield for my car.
At this point I am not sure if there is anything I can do. The old windshield clearly said acoustic glass while the new one does not and they said there is not much they can do since this is the only part listed.
Any advice on how to proceed? Is it possible that Mercedes no longer produces acoustic glass windshield replacement?

I have the same issue. Have a crack on my windshield and mine says acoustic on it. Haven’t taken it to dealer yet how much did it cost you to replace it? And personally I would want to have acoustic glass again. I’m sure there is some kind of difference.

Mercedes only has ONE replacement windshield thru Mercedes Parts for all GLC - you are best directing your question to Mercedes Customer Care and starting a Case there - make sure Customer Care understands from you that your dealer has been very/very helpful (rate the dealer as a 10 out of 10 if asked) .
