2018 GLC 300

Navigation/Traffic question

I have the SD card navigation with a regular (no traffic) XM radio subscription. Occasionally i get traffic updates on the navigation screen. My question is why and does this happen to anyone else.

I experience the same thing. What I think it is, is that SeriusXM has free broadcasts every now and then. That is when I get traffic.

I have a 2019 C43 with MB SD nav and it has Live Traffic included. The traffic info does NOT come from Sirius (won't deal with them), it is received via the cars mobile connection, and yes it indicates traffic conditions including accidents. Routes turn red, yellow or green depending on traffic. not sure of your model and year.
