2018 GLC 300 issues
I bought my 2018 GLC 300 Coupe new and have been having many issues with it. I’m wondering if anyone else have had these issues as well and how were they fixed, if at all?
1. The rear inside light was shinning against the back window preventing me from seeing behind me every time I braked.
2. I have a constant creaking noise coming from the rear of my vehicle as well on smooth/bumping roads at any speed. The dealers I’ve been to believe it’s the cover that pulls out in the trunk of my car but have not been able to solve the noise issue that gets progressively worse.
3. When I start my car I hear a winding noise from the drivers side that last for about a min. Almost sounds like a CD player trying to play a CD but can’t properly catch it on track.
4. Just recently, when I have my iPhone 7 connected via Bluetooth and I’m playing music from iTunes, the car screen freezes when the next song starts to play and doesn’t display the info for the next song. This does not happen every time I connect my phone so it’s been difficult to duplicate at the dealership. My car and phone have been updated and I don’t believe it’s a connectivity issue.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Please understand that after a Apple update to your iPhone - it's best practice to Delete iPhone Setting from your Mercedes - delete the Mercedes Setting from your iPhone - turn off your Mercedes - turn off your phone - turn on the Mercedes and your phone - and "re-pair" your Mercedes and iPhone to give them both a new/clean connection together.

My 2020 model does the same when you unlock it. I belive it's the fuel pump priming to start. My VW does something similar.

Did this help?
I've seen this bug with both iOS and Android.
its buggiest with latest Iphone 11, media/calls will not work even though it shows connected. I've tried the Delete/Deauthorize approach
